Booking alerts come to your email from the start. Link your own Telegram or WhatsApp to get them on your phone and answer with a tap. Everything here lives under Integrations → Notifications.
Link Telegram or WhatsApp
- Under Telegram Account or WhatsApp Account, choose Generate Token.
- Scan the QR code with your phone, or open the link. The IHGIZ bot opens with the code ready — tap Start in Telegram, or Send in WhatsApp.
- The page shows the account as linked within a few seconds. Codes expire after 10 minutes; generate a new one if it runs out.
Alerts on Telegram or WhatsApp can only be switched on for an account you have linked — so nothing is ever sent to a number you have not proved is yours.
Choose which alerts go where
Notification Preferences lists each kind of event — new bookings, replies, cancellations, reminders and so on — against each channel. Tick what you want, then Save Preferences.
